As we were playing around with avatars in Second Life today I remembered this feature the New York Times magazine had a while ago, in which they juxtaposed photos of gamers with their online avatars (for Second Life, World of Warcraft, Lineage II, etc.)

Of particular interest is the number of hours per week that various people play and the degree of resemblance avatars have with their creators. Also hilarious: special abilities!
