Shibboleth (Jameson Reading)

Just a quick note: In the Jameson reading for this week, he mentions "shibboleth" on the first page, a word I was not familiar with. When I looked it up, I couldn't help but think of Lyotard's language games...just thought this might be interesting food for thought.

Shibboleth: a word or saying used by adherents of a party, sect, or belief and usually regarded by others as empty of real meaning
