Coronal Mass Ejections

In the year 2012, a Coronal Mass ejection will occur.  Massive amounts of plasma will come flying off of the sun and will knock out the power and informational grid of the entire world that affects every facet of modern life. (A CME's power is equivalent to the power of one hundred billion hydrogen bombs) The Earth will be bombarded.  My neighborhood, and the rest of the world will be in total disarray. This is what I am preparing for.  When we run out of food, out of water and out of fuel our neighborhood will be total pandemonium.

I race my son to the pool I converted into a self sufficient modern urban greenhouse.  It is full of fish so catching is easy and not so frustrating as regular fishing can be;) Just kidding I love fishing!  My wife and I stocked it with tilapia that are able to reproduce 1,200 babies at a time and be ready to reproduce 4-6 weeks later. This provides us with an exponential yield.  We also keep rabbits, and chickens for their meat and eggs. We're not sick of tilapia because it takes on the taste of whatever we're cooking with. That's the key to survival, adaptation (It's cheap too).  But we keep our diet somewhat varied with other meat and eggs because we need a surprise sometimes.  You can't just keep doing the same thing day in and day out, it gets boring.  Another key to survival is keeping up motivation, so Sheri and I try to make things fun and interactive for us and our kids to keep the spirits up. Sometimes it sounds like the chickens sound like they're laughing and we all imitate the animals.

We have two goats, and we actually named the goats, Trigger and Vicky because if they are named the city considers them to be pets and not livestock. We would need to have 35,000 acres of land in the state of Arizona to raise them otherwise, and that's something we just don't have. We want to stay as below the radar as possible, especially with the government always watching.  It's important to camouflage any of your improvements upon the land and to go underground whenever possible so as to attract the least amount of attention. Of course we have caches hidden in other non-disclosed locations, that's a no brainer.

It's important to me as a parent to do whatever I can do to provide for my children

Practice makes perfect-
We keep everything in ready order, or in gear shape as my Dad used to say.
The easier it is to find something the faster you can go when disaster strikes. Because when disaster strikes that's when panic strikes and you don't think. But if you're used to being prepared you can deal with the situation at hand effectively and your mind will be clearer when you need it the most
get your 72 hour kit, get your bug out bag and go. I'll never forget my dad telling me about 3 mile island.  He just got in his car, came home and took us into the bunker without blinking an eye.

When the stockmarket and the economy crashes there's going to be massive hyperinflation so we've started stocking up on junk silver and gold.  4 quarters dated 1964 and earlier is $20.00, it's much easier to store and stock old American currency in our home, so we've chosen this over getting bars or ingots of silver and gold.  It is also easier to disperse, exchange and hide larger quantities of silver than it is to trade in one bar or ingot, it's also not as bulky and fun to count or play with; my kids love stacking it up.  If our currency should collapse, we have a back up plan in addition to our skill sets that can never be taken away or destroyed. It just makes sense.

I OWE MUCH OF THIS TO DOOMSDAY PREPPERS, AND OTHER PREPPERS OUT THERE JUST LIKE US WHO ARE READY AND ABLE TO LOGICALLY FACE THE FUTURE. WE ARE WITH YOU. WITHOUT COMMUNITIES, WITHOUT NEIGHBORHOODS, WE WOULD CEASE TO BE HUMAN.
